Use casesSimulated live
Go live with a videoyou already recorded.
Pick an uploaded video and a start time. At that moment it goes on air for every viewer at once — with a countdown before, viewers online during, and the recording kept after the end if you want it.
Live or Premiere — you choose.
Both modes start at the same moment for everyone. They differ in what a latecomer can do.
- Live. A sliding window, like live TV: viewers see only the current moment and can’t rewind.
- Premiere. Viewers join at the current moment but can rewind to the start. Skipping ahead of the air isn’t possible.
- Turn on Loop in Live mode and one video plays around the clock with no end date.
An event, not just a video link.
A set start time
Pick a date and time; the page counts down to it. Until the start you can reschedule or unschedule the broadcast.
Or right now
“Go live now” puts the video on air immediately — handy when the event starts on your cue.
Keep the recording
After the end, the same link plays the video as a regular one. Leave it off and viewers see “Broadcast ended”.
Its own access
Broadcast access is separate from the video’s: air a private video publicly, or put a public video behind a password.
Viewers online
Concurrent viewers and the peak, plus plays and watch time, in the broadcast analytics.
Page and embed
Every broadcast has a public page with an “On air” badge and an embed code for your site.
Everyone watches the same moment.
Premieres and screenings
A film, an episode or an evening screening that starts at 8 PM for the whole audience.
Product launches
A launch video that airs at the announced time, with a countdown on the page before it.
Recorded webinars
Record the talk in advance, air it on schedule and keep the recording for those who missed it.
Three steps in the console.
Create a broadcast
Give it a title and pick one finished video — your own and already processed.
Pick the mode
On the Air tab, choose Live or Premiere and whether to keep the recording after the end.
Schedule it
Set the date and time — or press “Go live now”. Publish and share the link or the embed code.
Plans. Broadcasts are on every plan: Starter — 3, Pro — 10, Business — 50 per account.
Recorded, not from a camera.
dodocast does not take a live camera or encoder feed. A broadcast airs a video you have already uploaded.
- While a broadcast is on air, its video, mode and time are locked; “Keep recording” can still be switched.
- There is no chat, and no restreaming to other platforms.
Can latecomers watch from the beginning?
In Premiere mode, yes: they join at the current moment and can rewind to the start. In Live mode they see only the current moment.
What happens when the broadcast ends?
If “Keep recording” is on, the link keeps playing the video as a regular one. Otherwise viewers see “Broadcast ended”.
Can the same video play on repeat?
Yes. A broadcast in Live mode with Loop turned on plays one video around the clock. For many videos and a schedule, use a 24/7 channel.
Can I embed the broadcast on my site?
Yes. Each broadcast has an embed code, and you can allow it only on your own domains.
Your channel is one upload away.
