SolutionsHosting & playerPlayer & embed

Link, embed, HLS.For any use case.

Every video, playlist, channel and broadcast has three buttons: preview, link and embed code. Running your own player, app or Smart TV? Take the HLS manifest directly.

Embedding

Share with one button.

01 / SHARE

Three buttons on every object

Preview, link and embed code — for videos, playlists, channels and broadcasts. They appear once the object is published.

02 / TIMECODE

A link to the right moment

The “Start at” field fills in the player’s current position — the viewer opens the video at that second.

03 / RESPONSIVE

Responsive embed

The player stretches to the width of its block and keeps the proportions: 16:9 by default, or your own.

04 / FIXED

Fixed size

Width and height in pixels — 1280×720 by default.

05 / DOMAINS

Only on your sites

Embedding everywhere, nowhere or on a list of up to 50 domains, including *.example.com.

06 / HLS

Direct HLS links

Manifests for your own player, app or Smart TV. On Pro and Business.

The dodocast player

A player that needs no manual.

One player on the watch page and in the embed. Everything below works with no setup.

01 / QUALITY

Quality — auto or manual

The player picks the quality for the viewer’s connection; viewers can also choose it themselves.

02 / TRACKS

Audio and subtitles

Track and subtitle choice in the player menu, labelled from your track data.

03 / SPEED

Speed 0.25–2×

For videos and premieres. Live mode has no speed control — only the current moment.

04 / SCRUB

Frame preview on scrub

Hover over the timeline to see the frame; chapters split the timeline into parts.

05 / RESUME

Resume where you left off

A returning viewer sees “You stopped at…” and resumes with one click.

06 / PLAYLIST

Playlists

Autoplay, previous and next video, and a link to a specific video in the playlist.

Your own player

Everything for your own player — by URL.

Besides HLS manifests, each video serves player resources: the cover, a storyboard for scrub previews and chapters in WebVTT.

  • Three manifest variants per video: fMP4/CMAF, MPEG-TS and MP4 Byte-Range (for unencrypted videos).
  • Channels and broadcasts serve fMP4/CMAF and MPEG-TS.
  • If the video isn’t public, links are signed with your key: a JWT valid for up to 24 hours.
How to set it up

Three steps in the console.

01

Publish

Turn on “Published” — the preview, link and embed buttons appear.

02

Click “Embed”

Choose responsive or fixed and copy the code.

03

Paste it on your site

The player works wherever embedding is allowed.
