Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HWD Ltd., INN 6161062312, KPP 616101001, Tvorcheskaya St., Bldg. 9, Str. 1, Rostov-on-Don, Russian Federation (“dodocast”, “we”) processes personal data when you visit dodocast.com or dodocast.ru, create an account, use the dodocast console or watch videos delivered by dodocast.

1. Data we collect

Account holders

Account data: name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), language, and the fact that the email address was confirmed.
Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
Billing data: plan, balance, top-ups, charges and invoices. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s page and are not stored by us.
Content and settings: videos, titles, descriptions, channels, broadcasts, playlists and project settings you create.
Support: messages and attachments you send to support.
Security and technical logs: IP address, browser, sign-in times, failed sign-in attempts.

Viewers of videos, channels and broadcasts

IP address, user agent, requested files and time of request, collected in server and CDN logs to deliver video, count traffic and prevent abuse. We use these logs in aggregated form for statistics shown to the account holder.

Website visitors

With Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics we collect pseudonymous usage data (pages visited, device, approximate location) through cookies.

2. Why we process data

to create and secure your account and let you sign in (performance of contract);
to provide the Service: store, transcode and deliver your Content, run channels and broadcasts (performance of contract);
to charge plan fees and usage, and keep accounting records (contract, legal obligation);
to send service emails: email confirmation, password reset, billing and important notices (contract);
to prevent fraud, abuse and attacks, including CAPTCHA checks at sign-up (legitimate interest);
to improve the website and Service with analytics (consent, where required).

We do not sell personal data and do not use your Content to train AI models.

3. Service providers

We share data only with providers who help us run the Service, under confidentiality and data processing terms:

hosting and data centre providers in the Russian Federation;
content delivery networks (CDN) that deliver video to viewers;
email delivery (Yandex 360) for service emails;
Google (Google sign-in, reCAPTCHA, Google Analytics / Tag Manager);
payment providers that process top-ups.

We may disclose data when required by law or a valid order of a competent authority.

4. International transfers

Our databases are located in the Russian Federation; personal data of Russian citizens is stored in Russia. Some providers (for example Google and content delivery networks) process data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

Account data — while the account exists and up to 3 years after closure for legal claims and accounting.
Billing records — as long as required by tax and accounting law.
Content — until you delete it or the account is closed, plus up to 30 days in backups.
Delivery and security logs — up to 12 months.
Support tickets — closed tickets are deleted after 365 days, their attachments after 90 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location you may request access to, correction, deletion or export of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Send requests to hello@dodocast.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

7. Cookies

The website uses cookies for language preference and, through Google Tag Manager, for analytics. The console uses strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions. You can block cookies in your browser settings; sign-in will not work without necessary cookies.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access control, optional channel-level video encryption and signed links. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach where required by law.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We will publish updates on this page and notify account holders of material changes by email or in the console.
