SolutionsSecurityWatermarks

Your mark —in every frame.

A logo or text is burned into the video during encoding — in every rendition. A single mark in a corner or a tile across the whole frame, with an exact preview before you apply it.

Watermark

A mark you can’t strip from the video.

01 / TYPE

Logo or text

A transparent PNG up to 10 MB or text up to 255 characters.

02 / SINGLE

Single

9 positions, edge margin, size from 2 to 60% of the frame, opacity and soft edges.

03 / TILE

Tiled

The mark repeats across the whole frame at an angle of up to 90° — so it can’t be cropped out.

04 / PREVIEW

Exact preview

The server renders a frame with the mark applied — exactly how it will look in the video.

05 / STICKY

In every future version

While the mark is on, it’s applied on every re-encode.

06 / REMOVE

Removable

The mark is removed by re-encoding from the clean source.

How it works

Burned in, not drawn on top.

The watermark is part of the picture: you can’t remove it by hiding a layer in the player or downloading the segments. Even a screen recording takes the mark along.

  • Applying and removing re-encode every rendition — it’s paid, and the cost is shown before you start.
  • While re-encoding runs, the video’s renditions aren’t available for playback — apply the mark before publishing.
  • One mark for all viewers: there are no personal marks with the viewer’s name.
How to set it up

Three steps in the console.

01

Set up the mark

The Watermark tab: type, layout, position, size and opacity.

02

Check the frame

“Preview” shows the exact frame with the mark.

03

Apply

“Apply” re-encodes every rendition — now with the mark.
