SolutionsAnalytics & teamProjects & team

Your team.An orderly library.

Organise videos into projects: each with its own access, styling, storage and rendition settings and its own members. Invite colleagues with a code and work on the library together.

Projects

Every project, its own rules.

01 / PROJECTS

Projects

Videos are grouped into projects: a course, a series, a client or a department.

02 / DEFAULTS

Project settings

Access, embedding, encryption, page styling, storage auto-cleanup and encoding renditions — defaults for every video in the project.

03 / INVITE

Invite by code

Generate an invite code and send it to a colleague — they join the project with it.

04 / ROLES

Author and contributors

The author invites and removes contributors; a contributor can leave the project themselves.

05 / MOVE

Move videos

Move videos between projects without re-uploading — one at a time or in bulk.

06 / SUPPORT

Support from the console

Contact support with a link to the video, playlist, channel, broadcast or payment in question — no pasting links into emails.

Inheritance

Change the project — the videos follow.

Videos inherit the project’s settings, and the project inherits the account’s. The console shows up front how many videos a change affects and how many are set manually.

  • Access, embedding, styling and encryption are inherited independently of each other.
  • Manual video settings are kept — you can reset them to the project’s in one action.
  • For selected videos there’s “Apply project settings” — no need to open each one.

Sign-in. Password and two-factor authentication are managed in your dodocast account.

How to set it up

Three steps in the console.

01

Create a project

A title, a description and default encoding renditions.

02

Configure it

Publication, access and storage — for every video in the project.

03

Invite your team

“Invite people” → invite code.
