SolutionsOn air24/7 channels
Your own 24/7 channel. From your videos.
Build a programme from your uploaded videos — the channel plays it around the clock like a TV station, and viewers join at the current moment. Scheduled shows take the air for their slot, and you can edit the programme while it’s on air.
A TV channel without a control room.
Edit on air
Add, remove or reorder videos on a running channel: the edit takes effect at the next item boundary and viewers see an ordinary transition.
No end date
A channel is either on air or off. No start and stop windows — switch it on and it runs.
Scheduled shows
A video or a whole playlist at a set time — once, every day or on chosen weekdays. The programme plays in between.
Channel format
You set the renditions and aspect ratio. The console lists videos that don’t fit, with the reason: missing rendition, no audio or a frame that’s too wide.
Languages and subtitles
The channel promises viewers its audio and subtitle languages — in soft or strict mode.
Channel key
AES-128 or SAMPLE-AES at channel level: segments are encrypted on the fly, so one air can mix encrypted and plain videos.
Air that doesn’t break.
A player reads the stream description once per session. So the channel announces its quality ceiling up front rather than the current item’s parameters — and a video added on the fly doesn’t break the stream.
- Channel renditions come from your plan, up to 1080p.
- Codec level headroom is on by default — turn it off only if very old devices matter.
- Videos without an audio track can’t join a channel: silent air breaks for viewers.
One air, everywhere.
A channel has a public page, an embed code, HLS manifests for Smart TVs and set-top boxes, and a programme guide in JSON.
- The channel page uses the On air layout: an “On air” badge, what’s on now and what’s next.
- Two manifests — fMP4/CMAF and MPEG-TS — for any external player.
- Channel access and encryption are independent of the individual videos’ settings.
Plans. 24/7 channels are included in Pro (1 channel) and Business (5 channels). An extra channel is $29 per month.
