Lessons in order. One access for the course.
The Course layout for playlists: a lesson list next to the player, each lesson with a description and downloadable materials. One password or private link opens the whole course, and lessons don’t open outside it.
Everything for the lesson, next to the player.
One access for the course
“Playlist access” mode: the course password or private link opens all lessons at once.
Lessons only inside the course
The “Playlist only” policy: a lesson has no page or embed of its own — it can only be watched in the course.
Course outline
Lessons with thumbnails and durations next to the player. Students mark lessons as done and see their progress — saved in their browser.
Lesson materials
Notes, slides, spreadsheets and archives under the player: pdf, doc, xls, ppt, zip, csv, txt. Up to 30 files per lesson on Pro and Business.
Chapters inside a lesson
Split a long lesson into topics — their titles show on the player’s timeline.
Where students drop off
Course analytics by lesson: plays, watch time and share watched for every lesson.
Embed the course in your school.
Open the course with a password on its dodocast page, or embed it in your own site or LMS — the player shows only on your domains.
- Embedding only on specified domains — up to 50, including *.example.com.
- Signed links for your own player: your server signs the stream link with your key, valid for up to 24 hours. On Pro and Business.
- A watermark with your school’s logo or name is burned into every rendition.
Selling access is up to you. dodocast doesn’t take payments from viewers: it shows the course to whoever you gave the password, private link or token.
